Hello everyone,

I've been using these forums as guideline for a while but this is my 1st post.

So a few weeks ago I had a power failure at home just as my system was booting, which caused it not to boot up at all when the power came back. I had to re install Windows, re download all the drivers and so on.

What I have no clue about is why my overclock settings are missing, the profile is gone from the BIOS.

I was hoping I could take matters into my own hands and overclock it on my own, however I have bought this pc already with the overclock @4.8Ghz and I have never oc'd before, so some advice / insight would be greatly appreciated!

My specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k SandyBridge
Mobo: Asus P8H67-I Mini ITX 1155
Memory: Corsair 1333MHz PC3-10666 (2x 2GB) (upgrading to 8gb next week)
GPU: AMD HD6790 (upgrading to a sapphire hd 7950 boost next week aswell)
Cooling: Corsair H50 Water Cooler
PSU: Corsair CX500W
Case: Lian-Li Q08 Mini ITX Case
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB

I do not have an explanation for it... their just gone, I have no idea what happened. The power failure was the only meaningful event before I noticed the dissapearence of my overclock.

Or it could have been me accidently doing something wrong while trying to restore the system even tho I'm certain I didn't tinker with the BIOS at all, I'm at a loss really.

Anyway, I've read that my mobo can be difficult to overclock beacause theres no cpu multiplier option in the BIOS. Is this correct? If yes, how can I get around it?
