Help Setting/Understanding RAID 0, 1, 5

I will be using my PC mainly for Gaming, but occasionally I do video editing (2-4 times a month). My Setup is 1 SSD (Corsair Neutron 250), and 1 Hard Drive (500GB Velociraptor).

I am not familiar with RAID terminology, so what is recommended for my situation?

No, it's not recommended, or possible, with your setup. You would need at least 2 of the same size/speed disk or SSD to run a RAID. Here is a quick video that will tell you what RAID is for and how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE7Bfw9lFfs

For your setup you be best served by putting your OS/Programs on the SSD. Games/storage/media/documents on the HDD.
