So im looking at 2 systems on craigslist, I cant decide on if they are good deals or not, the first -
Alienware Aurora R2 Intel i7-930 @2.80ghz overclocked to @3.37ghz
Liquid cooling
6GB memory 3 open memory slots remain
500GB Seagate drive
Dual Radeon 5770 video cards crossfire enabled
this one is $750
and the other one - (im just going to copy and paste here)
CPU: AMD A8-5600k Black edition Unlocked processor at 3.6ghz with turbo, can be at over 4.0ghz if overclocked, but never has been. Always used with Arctic silver 5, one of the best thermal pastes on the market, and stays cool at 20-40 idle temp.
CPU Cooler: Not in the Pictures, has a Coolermaster Hyper TX3, extremely cool and quiet cooler.
MB: Asus F2A85-V PRO. PERFECT with A85X chipset with the unlocked cpu for overclocks if needed. Many great features including usb 3.0, 3.0 boost. Uefi BIOS, memok. Blazing sata6 hard drive speeds.
RAM: G. Skill Ripjaws X 8gb 1600mhz ddr 3.
GPU: XFX HD7870 2GB with Ghost thermal technology. VERY very fast card.
PSU: Seasonic 650w power supply. Very stable, most reliable PSU manufacturer, will last forever.
HD: Western Digital Caviar Black SATA 7200rpm hard drive.
CASE: Corsair Carbide 200r, one of the best mid towers internally.
This one is going for $650
Im not the smartest when it comes to figuring out hardware specs so I would love some help here!
Also I should mention I plant on mainly gaming, I know these arent top of the line by any means, I just need a platform I can upgrade every one in a while, my laptop is getting old..
