Hi, I have a little Problem For about a year I've Been playing games with my Radeon HD 7970 perfectly fine! and all of a sudden (In world of tanks) PC Froze! solid color on the screen (with vertical lines) about the color of the game. After I restart my PC I try again, Same deal. I re-installed my old Drivers hoping to fix it but with no luck! the problem was still there. I looked around online some people said PSU some people said Ram and Some said GPU. its not the ram i switched it with the same problems, I ran FurMark to see, after about 3 mins the problem was there as well,

Is it my GPU or my PSU that's giving out? just want to make sure before I go and buy a 600$ GPU

Specs:
Motherboard: Asus M5A88V-Evo
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB)
PSU: NZXT HALE90 80+ GOLD (750W)
GPU: Visiontek AMD Radeon HD 7970 (Driver: 13.9) *Latest Stable Driver*
CPU: AMD FX 6200 (Six core)
Soundcard: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium

Solution
what PSU on the other PC( maybe dont power up the card remember the HD7970 has an elevated max TDP of 250W)
that kind of issue is generaly related to RAM and Graphics,so if you are sure is not the RAM, I would say its a GPU memory issue
remember testing your PSU as well

Same problem! anything that makes the GPU go in "High Performance mode" locks up, after I Restart it, the GPU fan Kicks to I'd say 100% fan speed for about 20 seconds

Well at this point I am almost 100% sure it's the GPU I was watching breaking bad(as I thought it wasn't a game it was fine!) but then same funny screen and after restart no image. Kinda sad but I've got a lifetime on it so just get another one,
