I have a router downstairs. I just setup a new desktop/laptop workstation upstairs. Bought a media bridge and set it up and all is well and signals are strong to both the desktop and laptop upstairs. Problem is the desktop and laptop are showing different networks. The laptop is showing the name of the ssid, the desktop is just showing 'network 3'. Normally I wouldn't care but I want to be able to use mouse without borders so i can use my keyboard/mouse with my laptop and drag and copy files/text across both screens. I'm not having success setting up mouse without borders because the 2 are on different networks. Is there any way to remedy this? or is there another program similar to mouse without borders that would work for someone in my situation? thank you

the SSID and Network3 have nothing to do with the network name.

SSID is the name of the wireless access point, and Network3 is what Windows calls the third configuration of you network card.

as long both computer are on the same Workgroup and use the same IP scheme (like 192.168.1.xxx) that is all that matters
