I have an Intel pentium 4 3.06 ghz and 1gb ram. What graphic cards can I buy for medium gaming? My budget is from $40-45

Solution
ok so its a p4 its unlikely you have an pci-e x16 slot or even apg so you are suck with pci cards that take pci are 5-10 years old and. wont give u that much performance and were do you live and what year do you live in p4s have been out of date for 5-6 years and 1gb of ram isnt enough to even do fb games. ill shut my mouth now before i get banned.

I am pretty sure that most motherboards that support the P4 3.06 ghz do not have PCI express therefore limiting you to few choices for a new card. The only card i could name off hand is the evga geforce 6200. But if you plan on playing any mordern games on PC you will have to upgrade your CPU and then buy a graphics card.

Most likely nothing made in the last 8 - 10 years if you are lucky. You would have to look up some very old games and check the min requirements. This PC is very old, I really would think twice before spending any money on it as there is nothing that can modernise it

And, I did give you the answer ---> "You wont be able to play anything close to modern on the lowest settings with that computer. "

You are just looking for what you want to hear. You would be lucky to play 10 year old games on low settings with the best graphics card you could put in there.
