I've had my rig set up for over a year with no problems, towards the summer, it started overheating regularly so I installed a water cooling system which worked perfectly. I later did a clean re-install of my OS to sort out some software problems. now about 3 months after that, my computer has started to randomly crash. The sound goes first, like a short loop or like a robot, but the computer remains responsive for around 1 minute after that, then it proceeds to crash and everything stops. this is when the CPU LED comes on and then I have to restart the computer and it starts up normally. Anyone had the same problem or can help me? Thanks

Specs:
Asus M5A97 Pro
AMD FX-8150
Corsair H80i cooler
16Gb DDR3 1600Mhz
GeForce GTX670
OCZ Technology PSU 700W

Update - the LED doesnt come on, must have imagined it, so nothing changes in the computer, and all of the crashes are becoming more frequent.

Solution

Starting your os in safe mode make you sure if it's -maybe- a drivers issue .. if it does, start uninstalling the drivers one by one..

Yes all after reinstalling my OS and no I haven't tried safe mode, though I do get the option to after I restart, but if I did i could be waiting a long time, if it doesn't happen in safe mode, then what? and if it does?
