How long will this build last me?

So i'm looking to get into PC gaming and I was wondering on peoples opinions on how long my build would last. The point when I would upgrade my PC is when I cannot run the latest games on lowest settings on 1920x1080 resolutions.

GPU: MSI Twin Frozr III Radeon HD 7970 TF 3GD5/OC Boost Edition - 3GB
CPU: AMD FX 6300 Black Edition Six Core Processor Socket AM3+ (3.5Ghz)
Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43 AMD 970 Socket AM3+ Motherboard
PSU: Corsair CP-9020048 UK Builder Series CX 600W 80 PLUS Bronze, SLI/CrossFire, EPS 12V, Quiet Fan
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar 1TB Green SATA III
RAM: Corsair Memory Vengeance Low Profile Jet Black 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800 CAS 11 Dual Channel Desktop
Case: Cooler Master CM Force 500 Mid Tower Case

It would be a while before you can't possibly run any games on 1920x1080, i'm talking probably 2-3 years, it really depends no one can see into the future so we can't really tell. But judging on new releases, the 7970 can easily knock down most games that are now being thrown at it and will most likely continue to do that for at least a couple of years.
