Hello

Recently I built a pc for a friend of mine. In the beginning everything went well, the computer booted without any problems so we moved it to another room to start installing windows.

But then (The second time we booted it) this happened: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrijOqu5oR4

So my question is, should I worry about other components being damaged?

Specs:
PSU: Nexus N5000 v1

CPU: Intel core i5 4570
Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty H87 Performance
GPU: Amd Hd 7950
Ram: Patriot Viper 8gb
HDD: Western Digital blue WD10EZEX, 1 tb

Case: Coolermaster n400 window

I already sent the PSU back for repair

Thanks in advance!

Because of the way it died when it did, I'd be inclined to believe the downstream components should be fine. No way to know without a new (hopefully better quality) PSU in there though

Thank you for your answer, it's a relief to know everything else is probably ok.

Wow, had a good laugh lol. Should try to get a refund with the PSU doesn't work after that.
