Graphics Card Failure?

I've got a scratch built machine running Windows 7 off a SSD. Running a Radeon 7850, my computer would randomly power off, then power itself back on again quite frequently (twice in the first hour I turn it on for the day, then once an hour after that) There was no pattern to what I am doing when it happens - sometimes playing a graphics intensive game, sometimes reading a single pdf. The Windows error code just gives me a generic ID 41 error, saying something unknown went wrong. When I remove the card and just use CPU onboard graphics, never have this issue.

I've replaced the card with a new one and still the problem persists, monitored the temperatures and voltages on the card and they're fine, wiped and reinstalled all the drivers. PSU is 600W, so should be more than enough to handle. Thoughts / help would be greatly appreciated?

Do you have an alternate aftermarket GPU that you could test to see if the same thing happens with another card?

Also, have you tried switching the PCI-E bus you have it installed on?
