connectin disconnecting every minute

My connection has been disconnecting and reconnecting every minute and I don't know why. I have tried resetting the ip and DNS cache but it still fails me. I have an old wireless router that I use for Wi-Fi. I thought that would help fix the connection, but it didn't. My ISP is Digitalpath. The internet is good while it works. Any help?

I already tried plugging my computer into the modem and it was disconnecting. That's why I got a router and after the test, the router did just fine.

I looked up this problem many times and found people that have the same exact problem and the same ISP, but I didn't find any solutions. I could try to get a new poe adapter, but I don't want to go through the trouble if it's not the issue.
