Unsure: how to connect PWM case fans?

Hi
I'm buying some fans for my case, 1x 92mm and 2x 120mm. They are both PWM.
My botherboard has: 1 x CPU Fan connector(s) (4 -pin)
1 x Chassis Fan connector(s)

I'm not sure what this PWM is, or if it makes much difference compared to the normal fans.

Would like some advice on how would I go about connecting these 3 fans onto my motherboard?

If you have 4 pin CHA FAN headers on your MB header, plug it in. If it is only a 3 pin header, you can still plug it in and it will work, just without PulseWidthModulation. It will work like any other 3 pin +12V DC fan.

If you need to connect more than one fan, you can find adapters to allow you to plug them into any Molex from the PSU directly.

Thanks for your reply. I wanted to make use of the PWM on my fans though.

I did some more googling and i read i might need a PWM splitter. I'm not sure how to connect this though, I mean do I just plug both fans into the splitter and then into the same chassis fan connector? how would the motherboard handle this or differentiate the fans?

I wouldn't use a splitter on PWM fans, if I were you. First, the header may not handle the extra load of more than one fan, depending on the current rating of the fan and/or the header. Second, the tach feedback will be screwed up because it is receiving the signal from both fans in parallel. Third, I'm not sure Pulse width modulation (speed control) will work properly with two DC motors in parallel.

You might be better to look into something similar to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811998100&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Controller+Panels-_-N82E16811998100&gclid=COnevLT88bkCFfFDMgody30AaA
