Hello, my name is Adam. I've recently joined this forum and I'm looking for help in creating my own custom built budget gaming computer. I have never done this before and would really like suggestions and examples of builds. I found a template on a previous thread, thank you for your time.

This is the kind of system I would like to have:

Approximate Purchase Date: Late November 2013

Budget Range: 400-500 Great British Pounds - £

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Work, Web Browsing, Multimedia Watching.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes.

Parts to Upgrade: Building from scratch.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes - Windows

Location: Cardigan, Ceredigion, Wales, UK

Parts Preferences: No preferences, never built a computer before. I would not mind having an AMD processor but I've always been told intel is a cut above.

Overclocking: Possibly if suggested.

SLI or Crossfire: Unknown

Your Monitor Resolution: The best possible for my budget.

Additional Comments: Preferred additions to the computer would be: Wifi, Bluetooth, and a mid size computer case with lighting and a panel large side panel for view of system components.

Also if it's possible in my budget, the ability to add a second monitor at a later stage.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I'm currently a student at my local secondary school, I've always had a passion for computing and gaming and I'm currently on a course studying computer science. I have a rather low powered laptop and would really like to get a dedicated gaming PC I would be able to upgrade and work on as a project for the next few years. I have always been interested in making my own PC but I'm not sure where to start.

Finally I would like to thank everybody for there time and patience in helping me out. I would be very happy to share pictures of the complete build for anyone interested.
