Hey Guys!

I want to know if its possible to have to graphics cards in the same machine without using SLI. I'm building a machine with 3 Titans in SLI (I wanted to get at least 50 FPS on high settings) and I wanted to put in a Quadro K6000 but I wanted to know if the Quadro would automatically do the work for editing and stuff and the titans would do the gaming.

Thanks!

Solution
You can have tri sli plus another card not in sli. You'd have to switch the monitor connected to the k6000 to primary so software will use it.
You CAN have two card not in sli, but you cant have 3 cards in SLI with a 4th not being in sli. In general I would say those 3 titans are more than enough regardless. Also 3 titans is WAY overkill for 50 fps on high, hell even 1 770 can do that.

I take it you missed the 4k benchmark review...

if you have a specific need for the quadro I would include that card. I have ran 2 different cards but never sli or xfire and a workstation card.

TITANS are a waste of money. and when AMD releases their new line up you should be able to get near the same performance for a lot less money.......... also, because of the price performance of the soon to be released cards, nvidia will have to drastically cut the prices of their cards if they hope to keep any kind of market share. the only people hanging on to nvidia will be fan boys (nvidiots) or those with specific needs.

You can enable different hardware in different profiles .
This has been available in every version of windows for a couple of decades .

But frankly there is nothing the titans wouldnt do faster than a single quadro so its utterly pointless

But then so is the third titan [ and usually the second one too ]
