Hi
I have a laptop with an i3 2310m HD3000 ... I know this thing is not for games but I was playing the game fine at 800x600 lowest settings.. max temps were 65°C while driving around, killing cops, running over people, etc..
But now I just launch the game and the cpu fan sounds like a General Electric 747 engine... and in 5 minutes the laptop shut down by itself. with 79° C.
All I did was format the hdd due to some ntldr error.. then I reinstalled windows 7 and everything else plus the game and I haven't changed anything!!
What can I do?

when you "reinstalled windows 7" did you use the restore discs to restore factory settings?

Best solution is to get a laptop lap fan to improve ventilation. Laptops are not really designed for games as you have discovered. Lack of air flow to cool it.
