Ok, so i built a pc about a month and a half ago with a clean install of windows 8, and it has been crashing and getting blue screens multiple times. I had a feeling that is was the memory so i ran memtest86 and there were errors. So i replaced the memory for the same model (Corsair Vengeance) and after receiving the replacement i ran memtest again. The replacement also had errors. So i went back and tested the old ram i had before the replacement and this time it didnt have any errors. If it didnt have any errors, then how was it crashing and getting blue screens in the first place? Could this mean its a motherboard problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

System secs:
Intel core i5 4670k
Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H
Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600mz
GTX 760

Solution
That is the problem, either of them faulty memtest will fail. You can check in your BIOS though if the board is supplying the correct 1.5 volts to the ram.

Just one. I've tested each 4gb stick by itself on all 4 motherboard slots and all of them passed(old ram, not the replacement). But as i said, how come it still crashes.

Ok, but what if it still passes? And if it fails, then i'm just unlucky and i received two bad sets of memory?
