i have 2x2gb ram 1 kingston and 1 veritech both of them 1333 mhz i guess i have a 100 dollar budget upgrade and looking to upgrade my ram to Kingston Technology - 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM HyperX black Series for future and maybe i can get some more fps on bf3
my rig is :
intel core i3 3210 3.2ghz
4gb ddr3 ram
thermaltake v3 case
thermaltake 430 w power supply
msi gtx 650 ti 1gb gddr5
msi g61m

Agree bringing you ram up to 8gig total would be a good idea. I think even now 8gig is still the sweat spot for gaming rigs there is really no need to go over that amount in most cases.

I know I have 16gig in my i5 signature rig but I got it right after Christmas and it was only $10 more than the 8gig kit from the same maker otherwise I would have got 8gig for this rig. Even at that I have never even fully used 8gig.

Might consider a RAMDisk can do all kinds of fun things with those ;)
