Hi everyone, it's my first time to post here. Hope somebody could help me because I'm so stressed out with my pc problem.

I recently bought a new Intel 180GB 335 Series SSD. I made a clean windows 7 install to this SSD and I did a reformat to my old 500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 hard drive to make it as a slave.

So right now I have windows 7 ultimate working properly with my SSD and a clean format of my old hard drive.

Now here comes my problem, everytime both of these hard drives are connected (SSD+HDD) my pc wouldn't start-up BOOTMGR is missing. when I check the BIOS my SSD is not there only my old HDD. Yes I did some research already and the System Recovery Method wouldn't fix my problem. I even made a bootable cd to fix startup problems but still to no avail it wouldn't fix it. And yes, I also know how to do the "priority"thing in the BIOS so that wouldnt fix it either.

Furthermore, everytime my old HDD is disconnected and only my SSD is connected to the motherboard, it works fine, there isn't any problem with it. But once I connect my old hard drive, everytime I shut down and turn on my pc there goes the problem again, bootmgr missing, and my SSD wouldn't appear in my BIOS.

FYI
*before I bought an SSD my old Hard Drive was already acting up (blue screen problem, my pc would just shutdown while i was working, etc.) could this be the problem? I dont have any spare hdd to test. i need a slave hdd.
*yes, when I installed windows 7 to my SSD my old Hard Drive was disconnected.

Hi, thanks for taking time to atleast answer my query. Forgive me for my ignorance but I don't know if I have port 0 in my board. But here is my CMOS. I can only go up until IDE channel 1 Master. If my old HDD is connected it's connected to that IDE channel 3 Master. I don't know if I'm making any sense. Sorry.
