Dropped my laptop but it seems fine?

I dropped my ASUS V56J on a carpet from about a 3.5 foot drop upside down.... but it seems fine? I'm pretty paranoid about there being some hidden problem, like it seems like my battery life is less but I think it's just paranoia. Is there a good way to check if there are any issues with my laptop? It's only 2 weeks old!

Just be happy nothing major happened... The only thing I would say is maybe run a SMART check on the hard drive, but if there weren't any problems booting you are probably fine there too.

There's no reason dropping your laptop should reduce battery life, that is just paranoia.
