Hi guys I am planing to replace my current HDD with WD10EZEX but today one of my friends says due to 4k advance format on hard disk he could not install window 7 os, could not format disk or installed OS.
I would like to know if buying WD10EZEX is a good idea or am I going to stuck in process of loading the OS. Highly appreciated, if could suggest setting that can help or it is better to go with none AF hard disk if I only have window 7 ultimate 32 bit.

CPU i5-2500k intel
Mobo: dh67cl intel.

Solution
NTFS uses a 4K-byte or larger cluster size with all drives that size whether they're advanced format or not. Whether NTFS requests a read of eight 512-byte sectors or one 4K-byte sector isn't going to make any real difference.

So in other words you are fine to go. It will work fine, don't have to do anything special to make it work, and it operates just like any other drive. Good luck.
