After reading for hours i decide to make this simple.
Please tell me how to change network settings in windows from a "public" profile to a "home or work" profile in WIN 7 64bit system
PLEASE NOTE!! I kindly ask that if you don't know please do not complicate this thread. I spend a long time reading already and found many suggestions that's not helping. in other words please no "guess work"
I am trying to add a new laptop to an existing network in an office. The existing network is a home network with all clients points on win 7, I do know that a "public profiled" homegroup cannot connect to a "home or work" profiled homegroup but this laptop wont let me change the profile for the live of me.
please help. I must be doing something stupid i just don't know what yet..
