windows xp screen looks like a negative how do i change it back to normal

what is a thread? My windows xp screen looks normal until I go into microsoft word 2007 then it changes to a screen that looks like a colorful negative, then I did shift alt print screen or it was control shift print screen or it was contol alt print screen I don't remember now but what ever I did it worked but then it changed back to a negative looking screen.

Please Help Me!

A thread is this thing you typed in. It's a post or collection of posts on a forum, at least in this context.

Make sure your video card drivers are updated, make sure your video cables are connected properly and screwed down. Print screen should not do anything at all to fix this, it just puts an image of the screen into the clipboard.
