Hi

I'm using ASUS P9X79 Pro mobo and I just notice in the GPU-Z that both of my cards are running at different speed.

One card is X16 and the other card is X8 according to GPU-Z

Checking the manual and also ASUS website that I should put both cards on the "BLUE" slots to get a dual X16/X16 which I did but weirdly the result is X16/X8

How do I fix this?

Cheers

I just tested with GPU-Z built in 3D rendering and it still show one card @x16 and one card @x8

Tested with game then alt-tab to see and it still x16/x8

Splendid
Move the second card one slot up PCIeX16_3 (white). I looked at the manual and it may be a typo. Typically the last PCIeX16 slot is controlled by the chipset and not CPU.

This is assuming bios is configured for PCIe 3.0 only.

I'll try move it to the white one(second white) see if it change anything and i'll let you know.
