This cant be right, I had my 1090t for almost 2yrs now, kept hearing about haswell, purchased the 4770-(I basically do video editing \rendering church videos) and I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING VERY WRONG-I clearly see performance actually lower than my 1090t when I edit vdeo???? What am I doing wrong-configuration?? I have an UD4H gigabyte z87 mb with 1333 memory-PLEASE HELP AS I KNOW THIS CANT BE TRUE!!!! Also have a 6950 beast of a GPU...EVEN WITH THAT I STILL SEE BETTER RESULTS WITH MY 1090T??????

The 1090T was and still is a beast of a processor, beating out the FX line a lot of times in benchmarks like 5 years later. AMD did something right with the Phenom II line that they haven't been able to reproduce or top. It's 6 cores, and depending on the software you using, it may benefit better from more cores. Since the Haswell is only 4 cores, it's possible the 2 extra cores are still giving it better performance. The 1333 could be slowing down the 4770 as well, or it's just a perceived difference, and without any actual benchmark numbers, it's hard to say if there is a real difference or you just think there is.

Did you reinstall Windows when you upgraded the motherboard and CPU?

yes-all updates and drivers good...I kept seeing how upgrading out of AMD to INTEL Haswell would SIGNIFICANTLY improve my performance...I still dont see it unless I am doing something wrong...set up was done correctly...after ALL the threads I have READ\ seen I refuse to believe that my 2010 1090t performs better than my 1 week old 2013 4770 ......SO MAYBE 1600 memory?? I have 16gigs of 1333 now in it...i am also using video prox corel software
