I want to cool my AV-Reciever better, since the UPC Horizon box is on top of it, there is a lot of heat between them. I want to cool them with silent fans. I have a few pretty new PC fans lying around and want to connect them to a normal AC-Adapter or something. I have no idea how to start. I don't know what kind of adapter to use and if I have one of those. I have the tools to attach the fans to another cable or something..

Any help would be great

Just all on the same cable, no splitting up.. just wrap around, it will split power itself? Thanks for the help, I'll let you know when I'm able to buy one of those things and make it. Would you suggest to solder the cables or just wrap it around? (Since I don't have the tools to solder... Might get them though) I do have that shrinking plastic things when you heat them up.
