I am buying a new graphics cars, an upgrade from my HD 6770, and I decided to buy a HD 7950. But I am not sure what brand to get. I saw Sapphire and Powercolor versions on Newegg and I really like those (mostly because of the lower price). I am on a super tight budget and I am not sure which one to get. What do you think? Oh and will a OCZ 550W 80+ Bronze PSU be enough for this?

Out of the two brands, I would have to highly recommend Sapphire over Powercolor. Sapphire have a very good reputation for making very high quality products, with great coolers. They are also AMD's closest partners.

They all are almost the same. Only quality, cooling and some have factory OCed but very little. Just pick the cheapest one but with nice quality (I recommend not powercolor). Gigabyte version is really nice because it is faster than sapphire (about 5-7 percent), goes cooler but louder. Cost is almost the same. So it is your choice, do you need more silence or more performance :

powercolor is $10 cheaper with rebates clocking in at $189. both are clocked the same. it basically boils down on how much you trust tul's workmanship and the durability of their cards.
