Was wondering if I could install a new motherboard and processor on my old hard drive without the drivers or anything to the new motherboard. The old hard drive also has an older copy of windows on it from another PC.

You can, but depending on how different the mobo is, like if it is the same chipset you will experience problems but they will be minor. If they're a different chipset you can plug it in and run it but you will have some errors and you're going to lack any special things that motherboard has, but without the drivers it will run just not at 100%.

Okay, but as long as I can get in the computer and install the drivers everything should be fine right? It's completely different lol I'm going from AMD Athlon 64 to an i7 920. Sooo, big difference.

Yeah, make sure your mobo chipset matches up with the cpu so you dont fry the cpu lol, and then yeah you can plug it in start it up and itll run but you'll need drivers eventually, but like i said it will run baseline without the drivers, but the sooner you get drivers the better.
