Hello
I have built an HTPC like a year ago and I still am not satisfied with the way it looks. It is hooked up to a 60 inch plasma, and we sit about 10 feet away. I have Windows 7 Professional on it, because I also use it as my home's "cloud storage." The problem is that it is a pain the the butt to read anything on it and it is definitely not optimized to be used on a TV. The same thing goes for internet browsing. I have firefox with a bunch of add-ons that just make it look freaking weird.
In short, what do you recommend to buy or download or whatever to make the software on my HTPC TV-friendly?
Thanks for your advice.

PS - I am using a wireless keyboard with a mousepad built-in to navigate the computer.

what is the native resolution for the tv? my guess is 1920x1080 try setting the computer to that. We have a conference computer that runs at 1024x768 on a 50" plasma, makes it a little easier to read all the way across the room. Just start playing with the setting and adjusting the resolution till you get it to how you want it.

Thanks but what I mean is what can I do to make Windows 7 look readable on the tv from the couch. Also, what can I do to make Firefox or IE or Chrome easier to read from the couch.
Somebody out there has to have an HTPC connected to a TV, how does your setup look like?

I just use ctrl and scroll up to increase the text size in my browser.
