Hi I just purchased a new computer in February and apparently it is not good enough to run the games I want to play on high graphics. I am having a particular bad time with ARMA 3..

The computer is a Powerspec G182 from Microcenter.

_______THE SPECS ___

What would you upgrade on this comp to make it run at a pretty high level. I am not looking for the best, just some good upgrades that could go a long way.
I am looking to spend maybe $250-$500.

Thanks for your time!

New power supply such as THIS or THIS or THIS AND

New gpu such as GTX760/770 or HD 7950/7970 - buy the best single card solution you can afford.

You cannot game on a GT630, and your stock psu won't hold up to a decent gpu, hence you will need both items. If you plan to o/c, also get an aftermarket cooler such as the Hyper 212 EVO or Xigmatek GAIA.

Well it has a 500watt PSU which will drive a much more powerful GPU (although they do not state the brand of it). If it is a quality unit an upgrade to HD7950 (around $200) or GTX760 (around $250) is what I would aim at. Upgrade to a quality 600+watt PSU and you can go GTX770.

500w+ is enough, but i dont know the quality of your power supply... and also i am no sure if it has enough connectors for the gpu because your current gpu is very weak/uses way less power..
