hi all,
i am going to buy a nvidia gt 630 1 gb vga(it is pci-e v 2.0) but i am not sure it is compatible to my motherboard or not. as far as i know i got a pci-e 1.1 and its x16. i also opened the case of my system unit and checked the slot its a black colour slot and beneath it its written pci-e x16.and on my power supply i saw it was written ''output: 300w max".
thanks!

That GPU would work but just so you know it is not a gaming GPU so if you are looking wanting it for gaming it will not do. Other than that it would work fine. I am not sure of the power requirements that it needs though.

You can install that card. PCI-E is backward compatible, a 2.0 device will work in a 1.1 socket, it will just downgrade the speed to match.

Cool, hopefully you'll be able to play higher than low setting.
