Sooo this might be a really silly question but whats the difference between a 32Mb cache and a 64Mb cache hard disk? as im getting some ideas on a new gaming pc would the 64mb cache drive load the games faster?
Well was going to have an SSD for Os for that side of things and have a hard disk for gaming just wasn't to sure on the cache thing so higher the cache faster a game will load correct or would there be no real difference?

thx in advance for the replys!
32MB extra cache space....
The cache is used for prestaging data to be transferred to and from the spinning disk. In theory, a larger cache can speed up overall operations.
No you will se no real world diffrence. it can just store info that needs to be read or written while the drive is doing another task. For a fast drive get an SSD you will never want a disk type drive again...

No real diffrece if same price go for bigger but dont pay extra. I prefer to put my favorit games on the SSD and then if I have every once in a while games they do go on a hard drive.
