I got a usb from my year six fare well where the teachers gave us all a usb with year six farewell photos and stuff on it. I tried to use it but it always says it's write protected. It's a crayons 4 giga byte usb is there a switch on it? If not is there a way to remove write protection. I've tried reformatting the usb but alas i hit another dead end as it denies me access to format because of the write protection. Since i got it for free from a teacher i suspect they manually write protected it but still all i'm asking is is there a way to get rid of it? I've tried regedit from run. I've tried reformatting the usb is there another way. Also It's a crayons usb is there a switch on it. I'm just repeating so you understand properly.
