I have a chance to get a sealed I7-2600K for $145.00
From a Retailer.
I currently have a I5 2500K
that could be sold to recoup most of the money.
Is it worth the trouble??

Thats a REALLY cheap price, however is the CPU new?

Make sure it works, try overclocking it: Sandy Bridge is a GREAT overclocker.

I personally would do it.

Try getting an value on the 2500k first.
