Corsair CX430 Question

I've been reading around, and I've seen a lot of people who dislike the Corsair CX430 non-modular version.
Is it that bad? I'm planning to use it to run a 750k processor as well as a Radeon HD 7750.
The cable management is going to be bad, as i'm using a top-mounted psu case, but the difference between the psu is $30.

Solution
I have a cx 430 in a rig and it's been just fine running a higher TDP CPU and GPU that what you're proposing. They have a 3 year warranty, and for the the $20 i spent on mine, i'll feel i got my money's worth if it lasts that long.

It's a decent, budget power supply. However CWT the company that actually manufacturers the CX lineup uses cheap, Chinese made capacitors in them. There are generally better units that use all Japanese capacitors for close to the same price. XFX an Antec both come to mind.

The CX line scores very well in initial testing but due to the cheap caps can die quickly. If you don't stress them then they will probably last.

Yeah. I would trust it with that system. Very low power draw.

You know they make a 430M that is modular if cable management is a concern.

Yeah I know they make a semi-modular one but it's not on sale like the non-modular one. The CX430 is $20 and the CX430M is about $50. The CX430 seems like the better buy, right?

The E35 has 1 extra PCI-E x1 slot and has 6 SATA 3 ports vs 4 on the E33. So you have 1 port extra for a sound card or something similar and the real biggie at least to me is the extra SATA ports. How many SATA devices will you use? SSDs, hard drives and DVD/CD drives all use SATA. I would go with 6 myself but I use an SSD, 4 hard drives and an optical drive in my desktop.

@SR-71: Yes, I do realize that the semi-modular versions are higher quality. However, is it worth the extra money. The CX430M at microcenter charges me $6 shipping and around $4-5 tax. That will make it $58 before rebate and $48 after rebate.
Or, I can get the CX430 non-modular at TigerDirect for only $20 after rebate, no tax, and shipping is about $3-4. It's much cheaper.
Also consider my system. It's using a 750k processor and 7750 gpu. Those do not need a lot of watts, so it shouldn't be stressing the psu.

@anort:
What if I'm getting a PCIe x1 wifi adapter? Will that work on the E33?

The CXM series don't use the same cheap Samxon capacitors that the CX series has. I still think that for $20 the CX is fine in your case. Your system at max load will not stress that unit at all.

@SR-71:
You don't understand here....I don't think you're even reading what I wrote above..
Yes I know that the semi-modular series are better, and that they are semi-modular.
BUT is it worth the extra $30? Also take into fact that my components will draw very little power as it is only a 750k processor and 7750 gpu.
