MSI Z87M-G43 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 uATX Intel Motherboard <----newegg.ca
..memory standard DDR3 1066/1333/1600/1866*/2000*/2133*/ 2200*/2400*/2600*/2666*/2800*/3000* (*OC)
could I use the top speed of the oc would it work and should I just buy the 2800 and make it a 3000 oc. Here is the supported ram web page. I need two 4 gig sticks for the motherboard to work I guess.

Anandtech just did a great article on Haswell memory scaling.

http://www.anandtech.com/show/7364/memory-scaling-on-haswell

" In light of daily workloads, a good DDR3-1866 C9 MHz kit will hit the curve on the right spot to remain cost effective. Users with a few extra dollars in their back pocket might look towards 2133 C9/2400 C10, which moves a little up the curve and has the potential should a game come out that is heavily memory dependent.
