HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY PC SHUTS DOWN AFTER 3 SECS OF POWERING UP.

WINDOWS 7 64 BIT ULTIMATE

OVERCLOCKED CPU TO 2.4 WITH AI OVERCLOCK IN BIOS BUT DIDNT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE JUST OVERCLOCKED IT 10%. COULD I HAVE FRIED THE CPU?

trid it didnt change anything tried using another 500 watt psu does same thing pulled everything out and started with cpu fan 1 stick mem hdd and video still did same. tried resetting cmos moved jumper for 15 minutes still same result could it be a fried cpu?

Ordered a replacement motherboard today i will try i in that one i guess il know whether its the mb or cpu when it gets here thanks a bunch for the help : )

motherboard was the problem replaced it works great : )
