Any way to bypass triple channel memory needing to be in the first ram slot?

My Asrock x58 extreme motherboard has a bent pin in the first ram slot and the ram stick that is in that slot will not add its ram to the ram pool. The stick has to be in that slot for the pc to boot up, but I am only getting 4gb out of the 3x 2gb sticks i have installed. Is it possible to bypass the need for putting a stick in that slot? I would love to have the full 6gb without needing to upgrade just yet.

Solution
If the two sticks are working in Dual, can upgrade DRAM now to 2x4GB then take that DRAM to a newer rig, rather than having to do all at once

Yes I have the latest bios, I am going to try to put them in 2-4-6 again, I did it once before when I had older bios, but the computer did not boot it just had a long beep.
