Bad psu or video card ?

My PC shutdowns completely while I was using 3DMark but when I'm playing BF3 it's just fine. Could it be my psu not giving enough power to my video card ? all my Temps are fine too

pc specs:
AMD FX 8350
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
16GB corsair vengeance
Radeon 7990
Corsair HX 850

More about bad psu video card
  1. Minimum is 750W with 42Amp or greater. You have 850W with 70Amps, so that should be good, your PSU could be having problems, or your GPU also could. I am not sure what the problem is, you could buy a PSU tester and test your PSU. And do you have it overclocked?
  2. Run memtest.

Does ram make your pc shutdown completely ?
  5. It can cause this type of issue , you have way more than enough juice , so that's not an issue.
