Hey guys, I want to build myself an entry level PC to play games like BF4, PS2, The Witcher, STALKER, and Minecraft at medium settings.

No reusable parts.

OS: Yes, need to buy one.

Monitor: Yes, resolution @ 1600x900 to play games comfortably

Mouse/Key: None, I have a mouse and keyboard

I don't live near any major computer shops.

CPU preferences: Intel

GPU preferences: nVidia

Resolution: 1600x900

800 dollars is max, 750 is preferable.

So it isn't exactly what you want, but it is within your budget.

The FX-6300 will be a good CPU as most games can't really use more than 6 cores (although Battlefield 4 is rumored to be able to use 8).

The single terabyte HDD will give you all the room you need for games.

The GPU will be able to run your games on medium-high (maybe not ultra).

The number one rule in gaming is COOLING. Your components will get very hot and a Full Tower will get you the best airflow to those components.

The power supply will give you all the power you need and is a very reliable PSU.

The monitor is fit to the specs you wanted.

Honestly, it's kind of unrealistic to put an Intel and Nvidia onto your board for that budget. It can be done, but you would probably either get a low end Intel CPU or a low end Nvidia graphics card. AMD provides comparable parts at cheaper prices so you can get more bang for your buck.

While that may be cheap for an Intel set, it is still almost 1/3 of the total cost of the build. Not smart if you ask me.

If the person is buying everything at once and not waiting on sales than I agree. I also skipped over the OP saying they do not live near any major pc retailers so I assume no Microcenter nearby. Too bad because an AMD 6300+entry level Asus or Gigabyte mobo is only $109 before tax.
