The i5 has more performance per core but as far as gaming they both run almost the same, there's a huge debate as to which is better but ive went over plenty of benchmarks and the results show the i5 is just slightly ahead in a few games but the same in others. If price is a factor go with the 8350 or the 6350 which is roughly same performance but much cheaper.

My opinion would be to save a few bucks and go with the AMD. As far as mobos, I looked at quite a few of them and ended up with the Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0 and it's been ideal for me so far. As far as RAM goes, you could go with Crucial, GSkill, or plenty of others, but I would recommend 2x4gb 1866 for this setup.

If you plan on overclocking, I would take the $$$ saved by buying the AMD chip and apply it toward a decent cooler such as the Cooler Master 212 (if it will fit your case). You may also want to look at sinking some money into upgrading to a better PSU and maybe a bit faster GPU depending on your gaming needs.

If you buy a Z77 motherboard, you can still overclock the i5-3570 to 4.0-4.2GHz (despite being a non K). At those speeds, it's much faster than the AMD at the same heat level without requiring water cooling.

I dont have a price factor and i dont wanna spend bucks on coolers. I live in a tropical country i.e. India, so you know it is extreme hot and my pc goes above 70c when on ultra gaming, so suggest me the best within $230
