Sapphire Radeon Sale VS R9/R7

There seems to be a massive sale going on on Amazon where most every Sapphire Radeom card is half off. Is it worth getting one of these for the price (capable of maxing all setting on next gen games, hopefully) or waiting for the R9s at launch?

I want the most bang for my buck. I am leaving Nvidia out due to the fact that AMD is currently priced significantly lower for the same performance with these sales.

tl;dr is the current Sapphire Radeon GPU sale worth it for next gen over newer cards?
Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Only the top tier are worth it atm, the 7950 and 7970. The rest of the next series below the 280 are mostly just renames from what I have read.

Just make sure you have a decent 600W-750W power supply to handle the card.

That is the range I was considering. Will they be able to max out next gen efficiently? Are they comporable at the sale price to the R9s? Currently for about 250 instead of 500 dollars.

Sounds good, I am debating if I should just wait for that release and get that or just when the inevitable price drop for the current cards comes at release of the R9.

And pretty much Battlefield 4, and hopefully most other games for a few years.
