Searching for cheap-ish gaming laptop

Hi all!

I'm trying to find a gaming laptop that will run Guild Wars 2, League of Legends, DOTA 2 other similar games on high or ultra settings with a steady fps of 45-60 fps on 1920x1080.

My budget is around $1000 but obviously the less expensive the better. I am currently looking at 2 versions of the Lenovo 510p.

Version 1) 4th Gen i5-4200M cpu, SLI Nvidia GeForce GT 750M 4GB GDDR5 Graphics, 1TB 5400rpm HDD, 6GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM

Version 2) 4th Gen i7-4700MQ cpu, Nvidia GeForce GT 750M 2GB GDDR5 Graphics, 1TB 5400rpm HDD + 24GB SSD, 8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM

I'm assuming that Version one is the better option? Also, any other recommendations for laptops around or less than that budget would be great! Many thanks!

I would wait a week or two. I think the prices would go down a bit for the Y510p

OK. Thanks. Around what time would be the best time to buy and why do you think the prices will go down (just wondering what factors affect it)?

Well, ProVantage selling it for $1050 (I7, SLI). Amazon is now down to $1075

I say a week or two are good enough. Maybe not.
