hi guys! i've been looking for a gaming laptop for quit some time now, and i've wanted if there's a way to build your own laptop? i dn't really have much experience with laptop, but if isomething with a 7970m will be cheaper than $1000~ i'll be all about it!
what i'm looking in one:

7970m/680m (GPU is what i care the most for. as long as there's no bottleneck i'll be happy with every CPU and ram)
thank you! :)

There is currently no way possible (that i know of) to build your own laptop. The reason for this is that you would be severely outweighed in price vs. retail. It would probably take you about 3,000 dollars to build a laptop, rather then by it for 1,000 at the store, however if you are wanting to build a desktop i can certainly recommend parts for that. I hope this helps at least a little bit. Please feel free to contact me about any other questions/concerns you may have in the future. Also please remember to pick your best solution so other people may learn from your thread. Thank you for your time, and have a good day.

If you insist on getting a laptop. Just buy a prebuilt one that has 7970m/680m in it. Otherwise, if you plan on building a computer, desktop is the way to go.

yEP YEP enough said there are no laptop kits I know Of and I am sure its possible somewhere in the world to find a kit but If you wqant power build a desktop no lappy will come close from what I know..... Do search on google for lappy kits...

As I stated before you would be spending 3,000 dollars for a laptop worth 1,000. Please do research before you suggest something like sending someone on a wild goose chase like that.

I know and i was simply implying that I have looked everywhere for one, and after hours i found a website that sold the chassis for them...however the components are unavailable to the public. That is why I said it was a wild goose chase....sorry didn't mean for it to come out the way it did LOL, no sleep is a nightmare.
