Help with Asrock tuner Utility for controlling fans at certain temps

Hi,

I have finally built my Pc. I am going to overclock it. In the asrock extreme tuner utility, I want to make it so when the CPU hits a certain temperature the fans ramp up. Is it possible or do I need to download an external program.

Have you even opened up the program to see if you can?

Yes there is fan control within the asrock extreme tuner utility. If you open the program it will be under the "Fan Control" tab.

Target temperature is what you want to set so that when your cpu hits a certain temperature it "ramps up".

I didn't know what "target temperature" was. I suspected it was something to do with that but I was unsure.

Target temperature is what temperature you want your fans to keep the cpu at or below. I have mine set at 50C, so that when it gets to 50C the fans ramp to ensure that it doesn't exceed 50C. I don't have Asrock Mobo anymore so i can't tell you exactly how to configure it im just going off of memory since i've upgraded to Sabertooth 990fx and antec kuhler 920 liquid cooler and i control my settings from the program that controls my antec kuhler.
