Internal HDD recognized in BIOS but cannot boot

When I power the laptop up it cannot boot and apperas a message " no bootable device" . The HD was used in another laptop and it is working fine. another HD was connected to this computer with the same problem.
In the BIOS it is in position 1. NAME OF THE HD (S2).
How can I fix it?

Solution
Try pressing the option during boot up to select the boot device, often its f11 or f12 and see if you can select the and boot the harddrive.
