I plan to replace my processor but I don't know what's the best processor upgrade for my mobo...Anyone ? My mobo is Emx-Amd780g-Pro....

Solution
Check the manufacturer to see what AM3 processors your MB supports, and what BIOS version you need. AM2 processors are no longer made, but with BIOS updates an AM2 motherboard can work with an AM3 CPU. For example, my Gigabyte 780G motherboard would work with this Athlon II x3 450 at 3.4 GHz:

But you need to balance that with the fact that your board is likely 6+ years old. Upgrading the CPU will only help in some areas. For about twice the cost of upgrading the CPU you could get a motherboard, A-series APU, and DDR3 memory that would run rings around your 780G system, even with the upgraded CPU...
