PC connected to TV Input Lag

I just recently connected my pc to my Dynex LCD TV to game and watch movies, but I tried playing Battlefield 3 earlier and it seemed as if it had input lag. I don't know if that's what it is or if I'm not adjusted to playing it on my TV. I'm connected through VGA to VGA and the display automatically used 1360x768 as the native. Also, I tried looking for a 'game mode', but couldn't find one.

Thanks for any replies.

game mode is the key to using a tv, as it turns off all post processing effects.

There's no easy answer other than get a new tv. :(

Dynex TV's are very low end and subject to input lag. It might be time to sell it and get a better TV. And if you can, stay away from Dynex.
