Whats the difference between EVGA GTX 760 SC and Dual SC

Solution

Okay, well if you dont plan on running multi monitor, then the 2gb should be fine for anything up to 2k resolution. =)

Unfortunately, I doubt a single 760 will run...

TO be honest, I dont think there is a difference. It may just be a mistake on the website, as both cards appear to be identical, in both looks and tech spec.

And yes, I would strongly recommend the FTW version of the 760, but unless you are playing games accross multiple monitors 4gb is overkill. 2gb will be fine. Unless of course you plan on upgrading to multi monitor at some point and plan to get a second 4gb FTW 760?

I don't like multi monitor set ups, I'll be using 1680 x 1050 monitors with 5 ms gtg. Will the 2 gb version run bf3/ bf4 max on my monitor?

Unfortunately, I doubt a single 760 will run B4 at max settings, even on a low res like you have. B3 perhaps, but not B4. You need to remember that the 760 is still less powerful than the 670, and the 670, while being an excellent card, struggles. I would tihnk you could run B4 on relativly high settings though, if not max. =)

I hadn't spotted that. I'm at work and the internet is limited. =P

Dual BIOS would be good if they planned on OCing or installing a custom BIOS. Although the average user doesnt make full use of this feature. If I had a dual BIOS card I would find it invaluble, as I do alot of OCing. =)
