Hello everyone, thank you all for checking out my post.

I'm going to be building my first PC pretty soon, and I have been trough hundreds of reviews etc about the hardware that I have selected. I think I learned quiet a lot about what hardware to pick, and what to look for when buying new hardware. Even tough I think this build is pretty good i'd like to have some more experienced people look at it. So if you have some time, you could help me out a lot by giving me some tips, or recommending some better components, since I dont want to trow my money away.

I want my PC to be futureproof. ( 4-5 years )
I want to play the new battlefield 4, arma 3, dayz, etc. (maybe even BF5 or whatever comes next :)
I'd like my PC to be quiet.
Also I will be doing some video editing, and cinema4d rendering.
I will be doing some overclocking CPU, GPU.

So, here is my build:

AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
Corsair H110 94.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Asus M5A97 R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB Video Card
Antec GX700 ATX Mid Tower Case
Corsair Enthusiast 750W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
LG GH24NS95 DVD/CD Writer
Antec True Quiet 120 RED 35.3 CFM 120mm Fan

Please help me out since I dont have enough money to buy any new components when this go's wrong. Thanks everyone!

Rather get an i5-4670K with a Z87 chipset motherboard! will take u much further. Dont get an SSD just yet because they are still quite expensive and dont offer nearly enough performance increase in games to justify the price! An SSD is something u can always add later so dont worry about that. If u want to do video editing then get an i7-4770K and u'll be okay! Then in terms of GPU get a 670 or 680!

Theres nothing wrong with the build... it's a pretty solid mid range.

I'd recommend going with an Asus m5a99 based board, and it will have the ability to crossfire with a second GPU down the road.

Thats the main thing the m5a97 is missing.

also, a 7950 crossfire setup would only cost a bit more than a 7970ghz but would absolutely slaughter it in any games or benchmarks

I would agree change the motherboard and add Sapphire HD 7950 Crossfire setup and you would be set. Despite what some may think the FX-8350 is a very good gaming CPU with out a doubt. My FX-8350 rig can keep pace with my i5 3570K rig in every game I have with no problems.

Thanks for the help so far guys, im just having a hard time finding the right parts that work out good with eachother, and i really dont want to mess this up since i only have to spend 1300 dollars once.

The reason I went with AMD was because it was quite cheap compared to the performance. Im just very confused right now :p and the Sapphire HD 7970 seemed to give some beasty performance. I only run a single monitor btw. I dont really need to multi task tough, and i could leave the video editing for later when I get more time, and some more money anyway. I only have to run a game, and something like skype / mumble. I should probably cut the SSD for now yeah, maybe go with 2x 1tb or something since I dont need much more then 2tb of space, would save me quiet some money :/

Also does any1 know a good build for around the 1000$ that would last a few years, that could run BF on 1920*1080p on 60fps for a while?
