Hello,

I'm considering an upgrade My current rig is a 6core amd 6100 16G ram and a GTX670. I'm considering if it is worthwhile to invest in another 670 and go SLI or consider some of the newer cards coming out? I'm mostly using this pc for gaming.

Look your gpu is perfect for new games but i recommend you to upgrade your cpu to avoiding bottlenecking and keep your gpu's performance to the peak.Any i5 3rd or 4th gen shall keep your gpu's performance secure

What resolution are you gaming at? Are you using or planning to use multiple monitors? There's a report that nVidia is dropping prices in November to compete with AMD also.

I think the CPU is fine. Look at costs. For him to switch to Intel would be the price of a new CPU and a new motherboard, and for what? He'd still be looking at the exact same graphics card, and for a whole lot of cost, and not really be increasing his frames per second.

Once he replies with what resolution and whether he's single monitor or opting to go more, we just can't say confidently one way or the other about adding another GPU.

I'm currently using 1 24" for gaming I would like to add another 24" in the future. I do agree that the cpu needs a bit of a upgrade
